Ini novel karangan Sandra Brown pertama yang akan saya baca. Buku ini diterbitkan oleh Gramedia sejak tahun 2003 lalu dan versi aslinya terbit di tahun lahir saya. Biasanya saya lebih memilih novel genre kontemporer dan hanya sesekali mencoba untuk genre historikal. Dan sekali lagi, hanya berbekal sinopsis yang saya baca di bagian sampul belakang buku dan iming-iming teman saya tentang karakter tokoh (yang katanya bakal disukai oleh penggemar tokoh Roarke dalam In death series-nya J.D. Robb) saya baru akan memulai untuk menguliti buku ini halaman per halaman.
